Fast and Furious 7 Facebook page revs up to 45,867,448 Likes!

Fast & Furious 7 is now in post-production. FF fans are eagerly awaiting the birth of Fast and Furious 7, the last Paul Walker movie due out in theaters on April 3, 2015. This high octane racing and heist movie combined these genre ingredients to drive the franchise into mega stardom. Paul Walker and Vin Diesel represented Fast and Furious movies with the highest respect, pouring their hearts into these awesome films since the high powered The Fast and the Furious movie glorified street racing in 2001.

James Wan joined Fast and Furious last year after delivering two knockout punches in the box office. The Conjuring and Insidious Chapter II both opened at $40+ million in the weekend box office, representing box office records for one director in the same year. No director before James Wan has opened two movies in the same year at $40+ million, let alone having two movies falling into the horror genre. James Wan and Paul Walker instantly clicked, where Walker shared in an interview before his passing that he considered James a "G" for his work ethics and confidence.

The unexpected death of the Fast and Furious protagonist, Paul Walker, changed the dynamics of this FF movie series. The rumor mill is churning talk, with recent news circulating on Film Blend, that Fast and Furious 7 may represent the last Fast and Furious movie ever. According to this film website, the stress of delivering the best possible movie under extreme conditions (Paul Walker's passing), exhausted the cast and crew. Moving forward without the franchise star could decrease interest over time.

We never doubted that Fast and Furious 7 would propel, even with one of our favorite Fast and Furious stars gone forever. Dating back to Fast & Furious, this film series has outperformed itself time-after-time again. Weekend box office numbers for Fast & Furious 7 are expected to grab $115+ million. It wouldn't surprise us if Fast and Furious 7 generates $300+ million in its overall domestic box office and nearly $1 billion worldwide.

Fast and Furious 7 has raced off to 45,867,448 Facebook likes. This is impressive! The high number of likes indicate that Fast and Furious has a huge following. If we convert these Facebook numbers into movie ticket sales, then we are looking at over $600+ million in ticket sales. This does not factor in fans who want to watch the movie multiple times and those who don't use Facebook.

Fast and Furious 7 will be the biggest story of 2015. It will make its way onto the silver screen post-Paul Walker. As Film Blend shared, this film is more about a tribute to Paul Walker than anything else. Watch Fast and Furious 7 in theaters on April 3, 2015. Keep an eye on this website for upcoming news. #GoFF7

It's a Wrap! Fast & Furious crew finishes up shooting Fast & Furious 7 and is now in Post-Production

Fast & Furious 7 is now in Post-Production. James Wan and his team are working on completed production material to package this much anticipated FF movie in a major blockbuster. Since the late Paul Walker is no longer here with us, Universal Studios, producers and James Wan held meetings on how to handle this tragedy. With emotions set aside, Universal Studio green lighted Fast & Furious 7 production and this film is now being cut. This Fast & Furious 7 movie will be a tribute to the late Paul Walker.

Many Fast and Furious movie fans mourned the death of their favorite FF star. It saddened them to see any news coverage on Paul Walker's death. We were deeply affected by this shocking news. It is surreal to think that this will be the last time we watch Paul Walker at the movies.

Several months after Paul Walker's passing, James Wan has now completed production of Fast & Furious 7. According to Cinema Blend, Vin Diesel and crew wrote a heartfelt love letter to Paul Walker and FF fans. This letter proves how genuine these performers actually are and how they treat their co-stars and fans like a family. There is cohesiveness in every movie. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and cast members went out on the junket to promote Fast & Furious movies with excitement and respect.

We can consider Fast and Furious movies a part of our family. We get lost in the adventures these FF movies deliver us. The viewing experience is always rewarding, no matter if this is our first run or multiple runs into the FF race. Fast and Furious movies are what make Hollywood a dream land.

We dream to become our best. Dom is a gifted racer who refuses to lose. Brian never gave up trying to beat Dom, Their on-scene bond made these racing movies the best experience. The Fast and the Furious (2001) movie overcame the odds to win out in the box office with a massive $41 million in its first weekend. The ride has never stopped since then. Paul Walker continued to move the franchise forward with 2 Fast 2 Furious. This movie scored a knockout on its first weekend and preserved this series.

We assumed Tokyo Drift would slow down the franchise. Think again. This change of scenery added another dimension, another dynamic to the plot. We were treated to Fast and Furious movies going backwards to reveal backstories and predetermined events prior to Tokyo Drift. We learned about Han. We learned more about Dom and his loyalty for his family. If Dom accepted you, everyone respected you.

What many thought wouldn't move forward after the passing of Paul Walker, it is now a reality. In 9 months from now, James Wan will give birth to Fast & Furious 7. This wide release on April 3, 2015 is expected to break box office records. FF fans know this is the last time they will see Paul Walker on the silver screen. Fast & Furious 7 is Paul Walker's last movie ever.

We can't wait until April 3, 2015 to watch Fast & Furious 7. James Wan is a brilliant director. We enjoyed his past work in Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring and Insidious Chapter 2. However, Wan's Dead Silence is on the lower end of these great horror movies listed above. Fast & Furious 7 is James Wan's first major action movie, so this release will show us his visionary directorial gift in motion.

As mentioned in this Cinema Blend article, the author believes that Fast and Furious 7 will represent the last film in this series. Because the death of Paul Walker, the crew struggled to finish production. Making Fast & Furious 8  & 9 may not make sense for this crew anymore. It is not the same without Paul Walker's energy. His physical presence is longer around to inspire them, only his memory.

If this Fast & Furious 7 movie is the last, get out there and watch it as many times as possible to pay tribute to Paul Walker. Thank Vin Diesel for delivering the best performances of his movie career. Show gratitude for all Fast and Furious crew members that entertained us for the past 14 years (by the time the movie is released next year).

Awesome work Fast & Furious crew for completing production on Fast 7!

RIP Paul Walker: Thank you for inspiring us to believe in life beyond our ourselves.

Fast and Furious movies have made a fortune in the international box office. This movie franchise transformed Vin Diesel into a superstar. FF has a massive fan base that spans the globe.

Vin Diesel gives us a sneak peek of Fast and Furious 7. We can see Saw, Insidious and The Conjuring director James Wan in the background to the right of Vin Diesel and next to the film camera.

James Wan will put his stamp on the Fast and Furious movie franchise

James Wan is enjoying a wild ride with The Conjuring and now Insidious Chapter 2. This is the year of James Wan, where two of his horror movies are about to be certified $40+ million openers.

It's rare to see one director make two horror movies that make this much money. James Wan did just that. He is now on the verge of making Fast and Furious 7 next year. What we've seen with James Wan is his ability to make cheap movies that make a fortune.

Imagine James Wan making a movie with an endless budget at his disposal. He is capable of making an awesome movie with Fast and Furious 7, especially since his previous experience from the first Saw movie involved suspense, action, quick edits and torture porn (known as a member of the Splat Pack).

James Wan will step back from his star actor Patrick Wilson and direct Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson and maybe even Lucas Black. We are looking forward to Fast and Furious 7, though we do reflect on the wildly popular The Fast and the Furious movie released in 2001. This franchise has come a long way and Universal Pictures knows it!

We will be watching and waiting for this movie. When Justin Lin refused to complete this movie in one year, Universal Studios already knew who could accomplish this high octane job.

Enter James Wan into Fast and Furious movies. He is on top of Hollywood looking down at us. Interestingly, James is a nice guy that is humble. Whereas James may be extremely rich and successful, he stays grounded on Earth. Hollywood gravitates toward a director that makes big money for pennies.

Congratulations James Wan on your success! Good luck with making Fast and Furious 7.

Follow The Fast and the Furious news on IMDb

The Fast and Furious movies is about to get a new director. As covered in our last article and reported from several websites such as Dark Horizons and The Movie Blog, James Wan is expected to become the new director of The Fast and the Furious 7 movie due to be released next summer. The previous Fast and Furious movie director, Justin Lin, will hand over the torch to James Wan.

Justin Lin directed the past Fast and Furious movies - The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five and the upcoming The Fast and the Furious 6. James Wan is a talented director with the movie skills to carry forward Justin Lin's complex Fast and Furious plot design.

Talking about a fast turnaround with The Fast and the Furious 6 coming out this May 24, 2013 and The Fast and the Furious 7 scheduled to possibly be released in July 2014. The Fast and the Furious 7 is an unorthodox role for James Wan, as his past movies are all about horror. His upcoming movies The Conjuring and Insidious Chapter 2 are scheduled to be released July 19 and September 13, respectively.

Nonetheless, James Wan understands movie directing. He can make the transition from horror filmmaker to action/heist movie guy. Len Wiseman started his direction in Underworld, and then moved right into Live Free or Die Hard. The science fiction to action transition resembles a horror to action/heist.

New Master of Horror movies James Wan rumored to be taking over as director for The Fast and the Furious 7

James Wan is best known for his past movie work in Saw and Insidious. If you know his backstory, James Wan actually attended the Royal Institute of Melbourne in Australia with screenwriter Leigh Whannell. The two friends are highly sought after Hollywood talents. Their horror movies Saw, Dead Silence, and Insidious paralyzed the horror movie world with a new kind of fear. The Movie Blog re-reported Dark Horizons' breaking news of James Wan's potentially claiming The Fast and the Furious 7 directing gig. IMDb.com updated The Fast and the Furious 7 movie section to confirm the talks.

James Wan has made a big name for himself with Saw and Insidious. His upcoming The Conjuring movie is awaiting box office release on July 19, 2012. His Insidious Chapter 2 is a highly anticipated astral projection movie opening this September 13, 2013. It will only get better once Universal Studios and James Wan seal the contract deal and move into the next chapter with Lucas Black possibly returning again (movie rumors). James Wan is having a Channing Tatum type of year.

IMDb listed James Wan as the next director of The Fast and the Furious 7, albeit the current status is reported as discussion talks amid Justin Lin's departure, the director and producer who put the racing movies back on the map after shooting the last four Fast and Furious movies. This is good news for all those involved in The Fast and the Furious movies, because James Wan is a top director that knows how to make good use of a production budget.

With over $100+ million at his disposal, The Fast and the Furious 7 will rank as one of the best Fast and Furious movies. Watch the Insidious movie to see how James Wan put $1.5 million to work.

James Wan is now entering a heist and action movie franchise all about mainstream, as over 28 million Facebook fans etched their name on the fan site. We predicted The Fast and the Furious 6 would outrace the box office in the opening weekend to make over $100 million, even with the blockbuster comedy Hangover Part III getting released the same weekend.

Fast and Furious movies have a huge fan following. We connect the hype to the plot design. Good story telling, likable characters, action, and popular shooting locations are what make Fast and Furious movies an adrenaline rush. We are not spoiling the movie to mention Dom's reaction to Letty. You will see this movie scene in 5 weeks.

James Wan is rumored to become the next The Fast and the Furious 7 director. Justin Lin directed and produced 4 Fast and Furious movies, which the past 2 and the upcoming The Fast and the Furious 7 will be recognized as blockbuster hits. Fast Five made a whopping $600+ million in the worldwide box office. How will James Wan's The Fast and the Furious 7 movie rank among the Fast and Furious movies?

We will have to wait and see how the contract talks turn out. Moreover, the box office performance of The Fast and the Furious 6 will dictate this. If Lucas Black returns again, expect The Fast and the Furious 7 to score a major box office win. The Fast and the Furious 6 is due out May 24, 2013.

Congratulations to James Wan for getting consideration to direct The Fast and the Furious 7.
