Indeed, Letty is an extremely popular Fast and the Furious character. Dom was deeply affected by her death. Surely enough, he blames himself for unselfishly leaving Letty. Letty is a tough girl that is the only one that can control Dom. Letty and Han are two supporting characters who will leave a void in future Fast and the Furious films. Producers are probably working with the plot to bring back the two popular characters.
