Justin Lin's Fast Five movie is a high octane action-packed movie featuring a star-powered lineup of likable characters that race fast cars, plan a $100 million dollar heist, and reconnect together as family.

Dominic and company enter the drug trafficking world of Brazil to score a few high paying jobs. They reconnect with Letty's brother Vince (Matt Schulze), who left Los Angeles to escape the FBI in the first Fast and the Furious movie. Federal officer Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) travels to the South American country to apprehend Dominic and his crew.

The first scene involves Dom and company stealing an expensive racing car from a moving train. The stunt show feature Dom and Brian surfing off a high cliff while riding in a fast moving racing car. Vince is thrilled to see his best friend Dom. Since he left Los Angeles, he had a son with a Brazilian woman. It is obvious that Vince still has feelings for Mia, Dom's sister and his longtime love interest. Nonetheless, Brian and Vince continue to resent one another.

Vince refuses to accept the cop that exposed their truck heist jobs. The two engage into a war of words to voice their hatred toward each other. Vince yells at Dom for allowing Brian to join the crew. He tells Dom, "Where is Letty, Dom?". Vince nonetheless has no clue that his sister is dead. The scene is the most popular since Dom and Letty are the perfect companion.

Dom pieces together a $100 million dollar heist job. In order to make this heist job a reality, Dom and company must contact Roman, Han, Tej, Arien Cerda (Arlene Santos), and the rest of the crew. Every character is skilled in a job that requires a multitude of processes to claim the $100 million dollar fortune that resides in the police station. The South American drug lord (Orlando Vargas), known for his Clear and Present Danger role, paid off the Rio police to store his money. The police station is heavily guarded and represents a major obstacle in the heist.

Dom and company must pursue the heist with caution since Hobbs is hot on their trail. Hobbs will do whatever it to transport Dom and his crew back to the United States. The heist preparation goes rather well, though Vince dies in an ambush on a closed street. Hobbs also loses a few agents in the process. It is then that Dom learns that Vince named his son Dominic after his best friend.

The million dollar heist revs up the action. The crew work together to escape the wrath of the drug kingpin and the Rio police. The chase scenes are entertaining. The vault chase scene forces your mind to engage into the adrenaline chase. Fast Five shows that family is above all else. Moviegoers watch Mia tell Brian she is having his baby. We connect with the characters as if we know them personally. The plot thickens when Vince learns of his sister's death; therefore, he risks his life to protect Dom and the crew.
